Consultant Radiologist, Dr Steve Colley with be joining us to discuss his CPD session, CBCT Interpretation: Recognising Normal Anatomy.
This forum has been designed to give you the opportunity to discuss what you have learnt from the CPD session, CBCT Interpretation: Recognising Normal Anatomy.
Dr Colley will be on hand, to answer any of your questions and we encourage you to send in cases that you wish to discuss and share with the group.
Those who have completed the Level Two (Further) Training in Dental CBCT Justification and Interpretation will find that this Q&A forum will satisfy the further learning requirements outlined in the
FGDP Guidance Notes for Dental Practitioners on the Safe Use of X-Ray Equipment which state that ideally with a further 6 hours for self-study and small group-study, including case-based discussions, interpretation exercises and mentoring to follow.
This CPD session can also satisfy the guidelines surrounding refresher training and that IRMER practitioners and operators are to undertake continuing education and training after the Level One or Level Two qualification. For those involved with dental CBCT, it is suggested that as a minimum, about one of the recommended five hours of verifiable CPD in radiology and radiation protection should be specific to dental CBCT.
