This online CPD session is delivered by Dr Andrew Dawood and aims to discuss the importance, benefit and production of the ideal radiographic guide for implant planning and guided surgery.
Dr Dawood MRD RCS (Eng) MSc BDS (Lond) has been placing Dental Implants for more than 25 years and this has become his particular area of interest and expertise. He teaches and lectures extensively in the U.K. and abroad and devotes his time to Research and Development in Implant Dentistry, 3D Imaging and 3D Manufacturing. He has had several of his innovations patented and at times has used his own design of Implants which are specially manufactured for particularly challenging cases.
Course Aims
- To discuss the importance of the radiographic guide as an aid to diagnosis and treatment planning, and as a crucial part of the guided surgery workflow.
- To understand the differences in the workflow when planning for implants where teeth are present, or where patients are edentulous.
- To consider alternative options for the design and production of radiographic guides
